About Sara

I began working as a neighborhood mother's helper when I was 10 years old, and that was the beginning of a lifelong career in childcare and education. I have a Master's in Education and my roles have included teacher, nanny, behavior coach, tutor and most recently mama. I have experience with children from infancy through high school, across a wide range of developmental needs, at home and at school. I love child-directed, play-based learning and excel at supporting emotional literacy. I work full time as a preschool supervisor but love helping out at home too. My 2-year-old assistant would join me for daytime jobs. We both have excellent references! I love to read, hike, play with anything creative, and try new things. My time with your family could include homework help and healthy meals, walks outside and sing along, or kitchen science and sports and I'm great with bedtime routines!
