Hi! My name is Sara (she/her). I have more than 25 years of experience working with children of all ages and backgrounds, including neurodiverse children. I have been a preschool teacher, after-school director, a small business owner/coach of a children's fitness company, and now mother and volunteer nature-community coordinator. I would love to connect with your family! I've been lucky enough to nanny for a few families over the years while also homeschooling and caring for my own children. It's been such a joy to witness the deep friendships that bloom between the children. I strive to create an atmosphere of mutual respect, so behavior struggles are rare, but I believe an open, honest relationship is key to creating a little community to make this best work for both our families.

I highly recommend Sara as a nanny! She has become such an important part of our family since we've known her over the past couple of years. She has a background in childhood education and a fun approach to physical fitness. Her duties include picking up my 9 and 11-year-old girls from their schools, assisting in getting them to and from any after school activities, making sure that homework is complete and making them snacks or dinner. She helps them excel in school assignments, from taking them to the library to pick out new books for their reading goals and planning for science project tasks, to printing out practice sheets when one of my daughters was struggling with a math concept. She has a great focus on healthy living and encourages the kids to be active, even teaching them to finally take off the training wheels and ride their bikes! Sara has done so much to help our family and give my children confidence. They have grown into mature young women in her care.
