About Sara

Hi! I'm Sara, an art student in NY. I am incredibly patient with a passion for nurturing children's curiosity and creativity. I have 5 years experience as a paraprofessional providing support in classrooms, therapy and at home. I've also been a camp counselor, children's lifeguard, and a newborn night nanny! I am particularly skilled in working with neurodivergent children aged 3-9, and well-versed in various teaching frameworks aimed at fostering social and emotional skills. I love reading aloud (for all ages, not just the little ones!), nurturing creativity through arts and crafts, and encouraging children to find the whimsy and adventure in the world around us(a pocket microscope is a favorite for outdoor walks)! I strive to create meaningful and enriching experiences for the little ones under my care, teaching independence and building confidence along the way.
