As your nanny, your children won't spend the day in front of the TV or on an tablet! They will be engaged in the world around them. I have worked with children of all ages in many capacities. I have experience working with children who struggle with behavioral problems, and have a Masters degree focused on Foundations in Child Behavior. I have my own 11-year-old daughter and know how to spend quality time caring for a growing child as well as allowing space for spontaneous creativity and incidental learning, which I think is really important for children. I like to have fun, and I always enjoy having a sense of humor and adventure with children! I encourage independence within each child. Everything is always child-centered! Overall, I allow kids be kids and let their imaginations run wild. So, I like to keep children active, whether it's inside creating costumes or inventing stories, or outside exploring the nearby wilderness and learning about the natural world.
