About Sara

When I was 10 I began working as a mother's helper and I have been caring for kids for the past 21 years. My mother is a doula and a childbirth instructor and I grew up around children. I have provided care for many children, including one with cerebral palsy and I spent a year and a half working for children who were Deaf Plus. I have experience with behavioral issues, autism, deafness (I spent 5 years in an interpreting program), type 2 diabetes, cerebral palsy, as well as children who are behavior and neuro typical. I have experience from new born babies to 21-year-olds who need assistance and I have worked with multiples repeatedly. Working with children is a joy and a privilege. I love helping them express themselves through imaginative play, reading books, dancing, playing games, being outside, and just being themselves.
