Experience: 4 yrs
At 14, my science teacher offered me my first job due to trusting my responsible and mature demeanor. I truly believe working with children makes me a better person and I feel honored to be involved in any child's growing up. I would describe myself as patient, grounded, creative, responsible, fun, and approachable. I understand the responsibility of helping children learn how to feel their feelings, and take a lot of pride in my ability to stay regulated and help children work through big feelings or moments of emotion. My years of experience have given me experience with babies aged 6months to kids aged 14, but have most experiences with infants and toddlers and love working with that age range. I have a valid drivers license as well as reliable transportation. I have some college education, am CPR certified, and do not smoke. I'm also available to assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, homework/tutoring, travel, swimming supervision, and other developmental activities.
Sarah has been our part-time nanny for the past year and my two-year-old daughter absolutely adores her. From day one, she has been incredibly kind, reliable, and hard-working. I originally hired Sarah because I could immediately sense her calmness and presence with my daughter. Now that it’s been over a year, she has remained calm and present, while also showing that she’s great at playing, prioritizing safety, and communicating in a grounded manner. I highly recommend Sarah!
