If you are lucky enough to work with Sarah, she will spend most of her time two steps ahead of you and your kiddo(s). She will, for example, arrive with a weather-informed plan for the optimal time to go out for a nap in the stroller, and an extra rain jacket to cover your child’s legs if it begins to drizzle while they are still snoozing. And, when your child becomes obsessed with playing in a not-fully-babyproofed area of the house, Sarah will masterfully deflect their attention with a fascinating toy or household object or one of the many exciting games she invents on the spot. Sarah was simply amazing. She cared for our daughter from age 8 months to 14 months, at which point our daughter entered daycare and we were sorry to see her move on to helping another family. She brought her own child (two months older than ours) to work with her and the two babies-then-toddlers developed a babbling friendship. She is always on time, and when she had extra time during naps, she was proactive and thoughtful about doing other cooking or cleaning tasks. Any family who hires Sarah can count on her resourcefulness, warmth, and work ethic in taking care of their child or children.
