Feel free to ask any questions or seek clarification! I am a dedicated, passionate teacher with extensive experience working with the primary grades in all subjects! I am currently in my fourteenth year of teaching and I am certified in the state of Texas to teach Early Childhood through 6th grade. I am ESL certified and have specific training to educate GT and Special Education populations. I am accustomed to working with students who are below grade level and have a wealth of strategies in helping struggling students! I have completed Texas "Reading Academies" and have a specific interest and passion in teaching students to read using neuroscience-based practices! I can also assist with STAAR test prep/testing strategies. As a Special Education inclusion teacher in general education for the past 13 years, I can help guide you exploring classroom accommodations that work for students with specific needs! I currently teach 2nd grade in LCISD.
