Hello, I am a fine arts major at ASU. I have a year and a half experience with child care. Last summer I lived with my sister and her two kids (5 and 2 years old). I would help watch the kids while the parents were at work. I was also known as the neighborhood baby sitter, I would watch kids from ages 6 months to 11 years old. I love spending time with kids, when I babysit I help with school work, baking and cooking, love doing arts and crafts, help find creative resolution to conflict between siblings or other children, and peacefully get them ready for bed time. I believe taking care of children requires allowing the child to feel safe and comfortable, engage their growing minds, and most importantly having fun!
