Hello, my name is Sarah and I am a 23-year-old Nursing student. - As a student at Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts who is focusing on nursing, I have knowledge in: 1. basic nursing skills: taking vital signs, administering medication, & providing wound care. 2 Good communication: Listening attentively to the patient, being clear & concise in instructions, & effectively communicating with family members & healthcare professionals. 3 Flexibility: Being adaptable to the changing needs/ preferences of the elderly patient, & adjusting strategies accordingly. 4 Ensuring a safe environment by preventing falls, removing hazards, and following proper procedures for medication administration and medical equipment use. 5 Time management: Effectively managing time to attend to the various needs of the elderly patient, including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
