About Sarah

Animals: Growing up my family always had a dog or two, and at one point while we were living on a farm we had 4 dogs, two golden retrievers and two dogs we rescued from a church parking lot before getting them caught up on shots and into new loving homes. I currently rent my home and tragically cannot have a dog permanently, but I have the OK for fostering and pet-sitting! I am confident working with nearly all animals, maybe sometimes to a fault. My father was a vet tech in the Army so I've also been given good information on how to help animals when they're hurt and how to tell when they feel uncomfortable. Children: I have a bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Social Sciences and Literacy and have spent nearly a decade in the classroom. My sister has 3 children who I adore spending time with, though they're located in Texas so I'll likely have chunks out of months here and there blocked out for trips south.
