About Sarah

In 2013, I began working as a nanny and part time as a home school teacher. I have experience teaching preschool through 5th grade in multiple subjects. It has been really great! My favorite part about working with young children is spending time bonding and building a relationship, being a part of their daily routines and making each day special for them. My experience as a home school teacher prepares me to teach in a multi-sensory way to cater to all learning styles; we don't rush, we do lots of talking, reading, exploring, playing, testing our limits and stretching our minds and bodies. I take pride in teaching and believe that parents should absolutely have the final word about what their children learn. I am looking to work with parents to ensure their children have all the necessary skills and abilities to be successful and thrive.
