About Sarah

I've been working with children for more than 20 years. I'm a certified Montessori teacher and have taught in traditional educational environments as well. I am also a registered clinical mental health therapist intern, so I have a level two background check with DCF. My first language is English, but I speak some German, Italian, and Spanish too. When I am with your children, they are my priority. The early years are the most important and most formative time of life, and I seek to engage children in real life activities. No movies or TV, unless that is your preference. I have lots of ideas for engaging your children in both indoor and outdoor play, cooking, and art projects. I love reading to and with them and helping them with homework.

Sarah was wonderful with my daughter. My daughter is very picky with people and can be shy but within a few minutes took to Sarah. I was pleased to see how dedicated Sarah was to spending time with my daughter. The true test was after Sarah left, my daughter wanted to know when she could come back to be with her. That for me, says it all right there. Aside from my daughter enjoying Sarah, I found Sarah to be prompt, professional, and great to communicate with. Would absolutely hire again!
