About Sarah

My most informative experience in caring for children comes from being the eldest of six kids. I grew up caring for, attending to, playing with, and sharing a home with kids of all ages. I understand the dynamic needs of children as they grow! I find childcare to be a very rewarding and enriching experience and I have babysat/nannied outside of the home since age 15. My experience ranges from very small children (non-mobile, mobile, post-breastfeeding, teething) all the way up to adolescents and young adults. I've cared for between 1 and 4 children at a time, usually 2 to 3 at once. I'm a big fan of outings to walk, bike, or picnic and age-appropriate activities and games to create the best experience for everyone. I love encouraging reading and a love of learning! I also provide cleaning, cooking and household maintenance alongside childcare. I hold a bachelor's degree and spent 10 years working in the tech world before moving to pursue more creative and fulfilling work full time.
