From SW Ohio, but have been living in Pittsburgh and the Netherlands for university before recently moving back to the Dayton area. I thrive when orchestrating fun activities with kids-whether it be creative, athletic, sciencey, competitive, or just plain silly-and can bring the ideas/fun! Connecting with kids in general comes naturally, but I connect best with high energy/big imagination/neurodivergent kids. I handle conflict by working together with kids to express, identify, and strategize how support the unmet need typically underlying the conflict. Past Experience: Oldest child with 3 siblings, so child care was something I did a lot of growing up. I began babysitting again while in the NL and spent the past 1. 5 yrs providing regular afterschool care for 1 family (6 yr old girl + 9 yr old boy), as well as spontaneous care for 4 other local families. I'm comfortable with pets, playdates, transporting kids, and supervising activities outside the home.
