Sarah is amazing. She has a calm presence and has adapted well to our sweet, extremely energetic son. She consciously observes my parenting techniques and then applies them in principle with her own variations built in, thereby combining the mix of leniency and sternness he's used to as well as the techniques that tend to work best (such as redirection when he starts becoming fussy over wanting something he's not allowed). She also has lightened the amount of household work we need to do in a given week as well...every time she comes, she makes sure my son picks up and puts away all of his toys at the end of play and she finds ways of folding all our laundry, doing any dishes, wiping down counters, cleaning the microwave, and generally going above and beyond in various ways. If I had a different schedule and the resources, I would employ her full time; indeed, I am hoping that she continues to have some time for us as I know that once a family connects with her they'll quickly want to have as much of her time as possible.
