About Sarah

I'm mom to two boys (16 and 20) hoping to earn some extra money to put towards a much needed family vacation. I have extensive experience with autism, Down Syndrome, and other developmental disabilities and am familiar with a variety of AAC apps to aid communication. I also love working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergartners. I promise to keep your child actively engaged - no matter their age - instead of relying on the tv or tablet to do it for me! I'm also fine with light housekeeping, helping with homework, prepping and/or making dinner, etc. I was a nanny for several years in Wellesley and Lexington, MA before getting married and starting my own family. I have a M. Ed. in early childhood special education, a post-bac certificate in autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, and my oldest son has autism. I am also familiar with Type 1 diabetes, counting carbs, and giving injections. Last, I can assist with tutoring (or just extra practice) in math and literacy.
