About Sarah

As I grew up being the second oldest in a household of 7, I am totally aware of what it takes to care for babies and young kids. Additionally, throughout high school I was an active babysitter for my neighborhood and in college, I worked at my sister's daycare. More recently, I happily volunteer to watch any newborn/baby in my extended family (my favorite being twin girls that I've had the pleasure of watching since a few months old) as well as some jobs via Care. I am CPR trained and having worked with emergency responders professionally, I remain calm in stressful situations. I believe values are shown through everyday actions and I value patience, kindness, curiosity, and learning! Before my niece could talk, I was explaining core concepts in chemistry and physics. I sing nursery rhymes, enunciate/exaggerate sounds, and use repetition to teach babies the English language.
