Hi, I'm Sarah and I have over 10 years of experience as a private tutor. I've worked with ages 2 to 17 and have experience with children who have special needs, developmental issues, psychological and sociological distress, and lower reading/writing comprehension levels. I've brought students from F grades up to A grades in weeks by actively listening and engaging with their individual talents and interests and by creating individualized lesson plans. I've taught precocious 2-year-olds who needed active lessons tailored to their shorter attention spans, eighth graders in the foster care system, and children with special needs who required individualized attention and care. I've also worked as an online ESL teacher teaching English to Chinese students and have also spent time as a nanny and substitute teacher. I greatly enjoy helping children thrive and grow academically!
