About Sarah

I'd describe my personality as compassionate & playful. I like working with kids because they often remind us (adults) to slow down and enjoy the little things. Their sense of exploration and joy in small moments inspires me to slow down and do the same. I started my career as an autism therapist with WEAP. I spend time at the Oshkosh YMCA in drop in care. I also was a respite provider for a large family during Covid-- I was more like a mothers helper (laundry, dishes, house cleaning, and childcare for 8 children & 2 twins with disabilities). Once I graduated from with my masters in school counseling I did that for 3 years. I now have an in home daycare. I am looking to spend my spare time babysitting for an awesome family! I have many years of experience working with children of all ages (birth-young adulthood) with a range of needs (cognitive, behavioral, and physical). I know how stressful parenting can be and I would like to relieve some of that stress for you, if possible.
