Ive had the good fortune of working with seniors in their homes for more than 10 years. It brings me tremendous joy and satisfaction to not only help seniors maintain their independence, but to also help them improve the quality of life they enjoy in their home. Respect, trust, patience, listening and a sense of feeling safe are paramount to providing care and companionship. Helping them to connect with friends & family, engaging in the activities they love and potentially exploring new activities are key to helping seniors feel alive and engaged in life. There's also a balance between knowing when to help a senior reach out and engage and when to let them have the autonomy they need to define their own day. I'm dependable, I show up on time, conscientious and I take my job seriously. I'm compassionate, creative and by nature I have an upbeat disposition. I can cook, organize, help with basic computer snafus, help with outdoor and indoor tasks and I'm a safe driver.

Sarah is exceptional. No two ways about it. She's a dream team rolled into one person. I've known Sarah for almost 30 years. We both trained in school together and we both worked in Senior Care Centers at the same time. I've seen her working her magic. She's got a way with seniors that is indescribable. She's focused, compassionate, respectful, proactive, discreet, unflappable, witty and charming. And did I say how great a cook she is? She loves her work and her effort goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs extra support or who has an elderly parent in need of a caregiver. Sarah's a gem.
