I'd describe myself as creative, open, and kind. I'm looking for a family with one or two young children needing 2-5 days during the weekdays in the mornings and afternoons. I'd need for my two y/o son to come with me. I would come to your home, make meals, do light housekeeping work, provide activities, and create developmentally appropriate opportunities for learning and exploring. In my spare time, I like to read, crochet, cook, and garden. My skills include patience, thoughtful phrases, and safety management. My mom-friends tell me that they have a feeling of peace when they are around me. I am able to remain calm when falls and tantrums. I have many phrases that I use like "please put your feet on the floor," "we use gentle touches." Safety standards include: We wash hands upon entry every time, before and after meals, before and after diaper changes, after blowing their noses, etc. Taking a verbal headcount when exiting buildings or areas. And scanning regularly for hazards.
