Communicated, she met my kids, & we made a plan. She was due to start a month later during summer. I texted her 2 weeks before she would start to check in & wish her recovery well from a medical issue & she replied they prefer her down longer than expected & she was not sure she would be able to help with the summer anymore. No apology & not sure when she would have told me had I not contacted her. She seemed nice but this feels important for other parents needing reliable childcare to know.
