About Sarah

Hi! My name is Rose, and I am originally from Huntsville, AL. I am a genuine Southern Belle, and I come from a line of educators. My father and my grandmother were both teachers and librarians, and I taught both high school and preschool for a bit. I have been taking care of children since I was 10 years old, when I would care for a newborn in the afternoons while her night shift nurse momma got some sleep. That job turned into many others, and I became the preferred babysitter for all of the families at my church. Upon graduating college, I took an au pair job in Pontevedra, Spain, where I cared for 3 boys (ages 9, 12, and 15). I cooked for the family, taught private English lessons, and accompanied the family on trips to help care for the kids. All three of the boys played basketball, so I would also help teach them drills, since I played in high school. I am a godmother to a beautiful 3-year-old who is my biggest blessing.
