About Sarah

I am a 20-year-old college student studying to get a B. S. in Psychology. When I'm not in school, I am home in Fairfax County! Last summer I had a full-time job as a camp counselor at Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing where I took care of 8-12 kids at a time for 1-2 weeks straight with one other co-leader. I'd describe my personality as fun, compassionate, and conscientious. I like working with kids because I enjoy creating a safe and fun space for others. I'm very flexible. Each family and child is unique in what they need. I started working with kids last summer, but have taken care of young children since I was nine. In my spare time, I like to hike, swim, and read. One thing you should know about me is I care and will always do the best job I can depending on what the child needs. If they just want to relax and watch a movie, I'm down for that too! My skills include interpersonal skills, patience, and childhood psychology knowledge.
