Hello! :) I am a college graduate with a degree in Family & Human Services, & I'm looking to nanny with a sweet Northwest Arkansas family. I adore infants and children; they're incredible and so precious! I have 9-10 years of experience working with kids, namely through four years of nannying, nine years of babysitting, and multiple positions teaching in pre-K, elementary, and middle school settings. As part of my bachelor's degree, I took courses on Child Development, Principles of Effective Parenting, Introduction to Play Therapy, Marriage & Family Living, and Multicultural Competencies. In terms of my values as a nanny, it's very important for me that I honor children's voices in conversations/decisions and that I model healthy ways to engage with emotions. I have also received instruction on the principles of Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Gentle Parenting. Sarah is wonderful as an individual and was an excellent care giver for our 8 month old. She was always on time and was flexible if something came up. She went above and beyond in cleaning around the house if needed and played with our dog. She would sing and read books to our little girl and she did it with such joy and care. I would recommend her for any position for care.com or friends as she truly does care about everything she takes on. She is missed at our home.
