After studying Human Development at WSU, I began my career working with young children. I have 20+ years of working as a nanny and in lead positions in early childhood schools. I have worked with all ages, though most of my experience is as an art studio and kindergarten prep teacher at NAEYC-accredited schools. I've also worked as a teacher trainer and parent educator, and I've designed art, science, and movement studios for childcare centers. These days, I homeschool my magical little ones (ages 3 and 7 years); I make and sell art, and I'm creating a social/emotional learning magazine for children. I would love to find a couple of regular babysitting positions with children who are similar in age to mine and who would welcome my children as playmates. I bring the equipment and materials to babysitting sessions for fun, imaginative, and creative play experiences. I'm like a portable children's museum!

Sarah is a truly amazing person. She provided care for my 3 children in our home. My family was truly grateful to her for the knowledge and professionalism she brought to the position of Nanny! Sarah was a teacher to my children. They learned everything from social and emotional skills to math and reading. Sarah fostered an environment that was educational in small moments. From allowing my children to practice their cooking skills to reading aloud adventurous stories together, Sarah truly cares about her role as caregiver and teacher. We like to refer to her as Marry Poppins as she usually arrives with new and creative toys for an engaging experience. She is truly an asset for both children and parents, as she is also an excellent guide when navigating through those new stages of development for your children's growing minds. I wouldn't refer to Sarah as a babysitter, as she was our children's teacher in every sense of the word!
