About Sara

I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut, currently working as a paraprofessional at a Connecticut middle school for the past 3 school years. Prior to that I worked in the insurance industry for almost two decades. Arguably, my best experience is being a mom to two teenage boys. Although I am able to tutor in other subjects, math is my passion and specialty when working with students. I take great pride when I see students get that "aha" moment when it comes to math. I engage students through humor, keeping the subject matter light and low stress. This helps students focus while building confidence in their school work. Additional Strengths Include: 1.
