About Sara

I like caring for seniors because I enjoy their company & they enjoy mine! I started working with seniors at a young age, volunteering at a skilled nursing facility & providing care for my grandmother in her home. Since then I've worked as an Activities Assistant and Nursing Assistant/Caregiver. I also help my Dad since his Parkinson's diagnosis, driving him to appointments, helping with errands, keeping up with his exercises/mobility, social activities, etc. which I LOVE. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors - walking, kayaking & activities with friends and family. I also enjoy gardening, going to auctions & thrift stores, organizing and cleaning! One thing you should know about me is I take pride in my work ethic. My dedication and my "heart" are what set me apart from others, and what makes me successful in an environment such as home care. My skills include Senior caregiving experience, CPR/First-Aid certified, compassion, empathy, respect for others
