About Sara

Hello, I'm Sara! I have worked as a special education paraprofessional. My responsibilities as a special education paraprofessional included providing academic accommodations to children with individualized education programs (IEPs) as well as monitoring the safety of students with physical disabilities and various medical conditions. I also currently work as a disabled caregiver with a wonderful Down syndrome woman. I have experience private caregiving for families of disabled ranging in physical and intellectual disabilities. I am also a registered behavioral technician for autism therapy and have worked extensively with autism. I have past experience volunteering in hippo-therapy for special needs children, have volunteered in elementary school special needs classrooms. I also worked as a nanny to 3 gen-ed children before becoming a certified paraprofessional. Providing companionship, safety, care has a special place in my heart. Let's talk!
