About Sara

Hello! My name is Sara, and I've been taking care of kids since I was a kid myself. I started off as a mother's helper around age 11, babysat regularly in middle and high school, and nannied in college. I've worked as a music educator for 14 years with children of all ages. I've always loved working with kids because they are creative, spontaneous, and enthusiastic. I love getting to know their developing personalities and helping foster their curiosity and interests. I go all-in on dramatic play to support their creative development. I communicate with children in a firm yet warm manner. I understand that my role as the adult is to keep things safe and good, and I am skilled at maintaining household rules, enforcing boundaries, and balancing playfulness with firm, calm communication. Kids need consistency, and I am skilled at maintaining bedtime routines and helping children follow household expectations as they would with parents present. I look forward to connecting with you!
