Professional educator with over 20 years of experience. My background is primarily in special education, but I have experience with all levels, including adults, and specialize in cognitive science, executive functioning skills, and neurodivergence. I am a fully credentialed teacher and school administrator with a master's degree in educational technology. I'm passionate about the brain, particularly the role of working memory in learning, and helping struggling learners realize their potential. I'd describe my personality as curious, authentic, humorous I like tutoring because I think we all have something to learn from each other, and my students have been my greatest teachers. I started tutoring in 1996! In my spare time, I like to hike, bike, travel, and hang out with my dog.
