Hello Families! My name is Sara and I am a 34-year-old professional career nanny. I have a degree in Elementary Education, over a decade of experience in childcare and teaching, and over 6 years of being a nanny. I'm also a mom to a funny and easy-going 2 1/2-year-old girl and I'm looking for a position where I can bring her with me. My daughter has now come with me to multiple families and they can all attest to what a huge benefit my daughter has been. She is a great age appropriate playmate that will help your child in developing strong social skills. I treat every child I care for like my own and still have great relationships with my previous families because of that. My background in education and childcare has given me a wonderful knowledge of child development to better understand how to care for many different children. My biggest passion is helping kids become capable tiny humans by teaching self-help skills and social emotional skills along with organic learning.

Sara has been our full time nanny for some time now, and I would highly recommend her!! Our son started preschool so that is the only reason she isn't with us full time anymore. Sara is (hands down) the MOST patient nanny I've ever met. She is that wonderful combination of kind yet firm with our kids. Her patience with littles comes from a deep knowledge of early childhood education and development, which she employed every day with our boys. She helped with potty training, teaching them how to dress themselves, and how to share. She brought her 2 year old daughter to work with her most days, and if that's something she decides to do in the future we mean this to be a recommendation of her daughter as well! The boys benefitted from having her around and she was a delight. They especially liked doing "morning songs" as a group. In terms of communication & reliability Sara gets an A+. She was reliably on time, and if something happened on her way she communicated the situation and her ETA promptly. You would be lucky to have Sara join your family :)
