About Sara

Hi there! My name is Sara. For the last 6 years, I have been a teacher in the Greater Houston area. My first 3 years teaching, I taught 2nd grade in Alief ISD. The last 3 years I have been teaching 1st grade in Fort Bend. I moved to Houston in December 2016 and have been here ever since! This is where I met my husband, Evan. We currently live in Richmond, TX. I graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education in 2017. In college, I worked as a summer camp counselor at an outdoor day camp outside of Omaha, NE. I also worked as a food preparer and server in one of our campus dining halls. Throughout middle school and high school, I would babysit and nanny for various families. My time as a teacher, nanny and counselor has really opened my eyes to making everyday full of learning and fun! I'd describe my personality as fun, structured and responsible.
