My name is Sandra Vargas, I was a stay at home mom for my 3 children who are now grown up, and I currently also take care of my grandchildren. I am passionate about taking care of kids, and playing fun activites with them. I am committed in promoting a child's safety, and in helping develop their skills, since I have an Associate's Certificate in Child Development. I also have a flexible schedule, and I'm willing to work with clients to meet their needs. I also offer Spanish classes if interested. I have 30 years of experience also working with other children. I can help with Light Housekeeping and Cooking/Meal Preparation.

Sandra was wonderful! She babysat our son for the weekend, while we were at a wedding and she took amazing care of him. She was very warm, friendly and caring and Everett took to her very quickly. We will definitely work with Sandra again if we are in the local area again. 

Sandra, “Sandy,” provided exceptional care for my toddler and infant while we were in town for a wedding. Her communication before and during her visit was consistent (she sent pictures and updates!), she arrived on time, communicated when she had a concern, but didn’t bother us or need assistance with the basics of caring for two little ones. I felt comfortable from the moment I met her! She is a grandmother and you can tell! And my two year old seemed to have a good time as well. Highly recommend Sandra!


She has been an incredible caregiver for our 14-month-old twins since they were newborns. Caring for two infants and nowm toddlers at once takes a special level of patience, energy, and attention, and she exceeds expectations every day! I cannot recommend her enough. As a twin mom, it is hard to find someone to trust with twins but she does an exceptional job. 

Sandra was exceptional. We were in Napa celebrating a birthday and were in need of a sitter for our two year old son. My son is very attached to me. Even if he is near his grandmother or father he will not be happy without me but as soon as Sandra walked in she was very hands on, made him feel so comfortable and within a few minutes he forgot who I was! She is a preschool teacher who knows exactly what she’s doing. She was able to put him to sleep, feed him, change his diapers and literally anything else I needed. My son has a speech delay and I caught her giving him speech therapy by helping him sound out words. I mean she is absolutely amazing. 

Sandra is absolutely amazing! She helped me for 1 day with my 11 month old, and even though he obviously didn't know her, her warm and friendly vibe made my baby so happy and he never cried even ONCE the whole day, even when she put him down for both naps (he usually cries all day with strangers until he knows them). She is a natural and she knows babies; she knew exactly what to do and didn't need me to jump in to help at all (I work from home). My baby was so happy with her and Sandra was an absolute pleasure to work with, start to finish. She even proactively cleaned up without me even asking.

Sandra was fantastic! Warm, kind, and extremely caring. She was on time, professional, and put us completely at ease. She gave us updates via text, which was a nice way to keep us updated on our baby’s activities. Highly recommend!

Sandy has watched our baby since he was 6 months old, he is now one year old. We just love her! She is engaging, loving, and patient. She loves our baby like her own. She always goes above and beyond when we need additional assistance or longer hours. We are so thankful we found Sandy. She is more than we could have hoped for. 

Sandy has been instrumental in our child’s development and treats him with so much care and compassion. She’s knowledgeable, helpful and kind.
