About Sandra

For the past 15yrs, I've volunteered and worked as a Student/Teacher, Teacher, Lead Teacher/Director, Childcare provider and as a nanny. I have experience working w infants/toddlers, preschool-age and school age children. My family and I had a childcare at our own house for about 2 yrs. We had 2 small groups of children. We planned activities for them, provided meals, had read aloud and music time, joined during free play, potty trained and assisted during bedtime routine. I've been working as a nanny for 6 years now here in L. A. I believe children learn constantly, at the park, home, during diaper change, etc; therefore, I like to take advantage of every moment and turn it into a learning experience for them. I'm soft spoken, gentle, yet firm, organized, a self-starter, positive and loyal. I'm always respectful to others and expect the same in return. I also believe communication is the key. I have my Early Childhood degree as well as my CPR & First Aid and Trustline Certification.
