About Sandra

I have 7 years of experience taking care of my father-in-law who had dementia but passed away a few years ago. I was extremely patient no matter how many times he would repeat his stories. For 2 years I took care of my best friend who had breast cancer until she went into hospice care and passed away. I am very patient as a companion. Listening to seniors' stories is enjoyable for me and I love to make them laugh! I love music, singing, reading and dancing. I enjoy board games and can playing some card games. I can cook southern style cooking and make a pretty good spaghetti sauce and lasagna. I'm only 5 feet tall so I can't lift a lot of weight when it comes to bathing. If there's a shower chair, I can work with that. I have a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences; graduated magna cum laude. I'm a kind, compassionate person with a positive attitude. I can travel internationally as a companion if needed, as I have a current passport and global entry card.
