FAIR WARNING FOR PARENTS We are very saddened to have to write this but we are the parents of a 5 and 4 year old. As parents know, and our past nannies/caregivers know, childcare is difficult, challenging and rewarding. It's easy to think we can just say something once, have the perfect follow through of children and we won't have to have healthy, follow-through repetition; exhausting, of course yes. This is the honest environment of care-giving for children. Sandra I believe had an unrealistic expectation of this truth. It is sad to us since we loved her energy. Treating very well, creating an environment the most comfortable for our time away, we were told through a text message-not even a call or a post care gathering- the children were too much of this normal follow through. I think Sandra has an unfortunate and unrealistic expectation of care with children; unless they follow/do everything the first time, there must be something terribly awry. We were very disheartened to write this but felt it was absolutely necessary.
