It gives me great pleasure to recommend a trusted friend, Sandra to nanny child/children in your family. Sandra has been with us since June 2013 taking care of our son since the age of 1. We will part amicably mid-March 2015 and the only reason for that being I am expecting by 2nd child and both my parents will be here for 6 months to help, as I need round the clock support due to family circumstances. Sandra has been honest, trustworthy and reliable during her time with us. She nanny for us from noon to 6 p.m. and she has been on time every single day. Her constant interaction/communication with our son at the age of 1 introduced a wide range of vocabulary at an early age. She gets down on the floor and plays with our son and not just monitoring/keeping child safe. I traveled to Portland, Oregon for work in the first 2 months she was here. I was gone for 2 weeks and Sandra took care of his every day routine and was seamless transition. She sent me text message, photos and constantly updates on him. Our family being bilingual, she went out of her way to incorporate common words that we used so our son would relate easily. I credit Sandra with teaching our son everything from colors, numbers, and alphabets and making it really fun and relating it to the toys my son had. I have personally learned a lot from Sandra's style of managing toddler tantrums. She does it effortlessly without raising voice but at the same time, getting the child to behave. I credit Sandra as she transitioned our son from napping in the car seat to sleeping in flat surface, transitioned him from bottle to sippy cup/regular cups, transition from diaper to training pants/underpants, and taught all basic manners (including saying excuse me if wants to interrupt adult conversation. My son looks forward to Sandra's arrival as they have so much fun together, playing in the snow, taking walks outside or playing indoors. Day-to-day activities like bath time is made so much fun that my son looks forward to. I recommend Sandra with full confidence. She is an outstanding nanny and person.
