Hello! My name is Sandy, I have worked as a Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse for close to 30 years. I began in 1992 working in a long-term care facility for pediatrics with primarily non-ambulatory patients that were ventilator dependent. Some were ambulatory but needed assistance with dressing and feeding. Later. I worked in two prominent Children's Hospitals in Philadelphia St.. Christopher's and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on the inpatient units. with patients' ranging from neonatal (feeder growers) to TBI (traumatic brain Injured} who were ventilator dependent, but needed to be seen as the teens they were. In the last three years at CHOP I have had Child Abuse Clearance, background checks, fingerprints done annually. I would love to care for an infant or toddler. I am very gentle and dependable.
