About Sandra

I started doing care giving since 2001. I went to school to study Nursing but didn't finish it when I had my first baby with only 7 more subjects to go. I was working at a Hospital- Palliative/ Oncology Dept. as a nursing assistant until (5 years). I stopped when I had another baby. In 2013, I work as part time caregiver & ended on Sept. 2013 since the client passed away. Then, Nov- Dec I worked with a post-op client. She had her right total knee replacement. I came from a culture where compassion is one of our virtues in life. Compassion is highly emphasized by our folks and the people around us. We saw from our very own eyes how our parents took care of their parents with love, pride and happiness in doing so. We took care of our elderly and they stay with us for as long as they lived. Being taught and seeing all our folks good work, it gave us a very depth insight on how to take care of someone with love, respect & dignity. This is where my passion of doing this job.
