I began my career in healthcare as a caregiver when my son was in a serious car accident and required a full time health care provider. My daily duties including bathing, grooming, refilling and distributing of medications, and driving to all medical appointments. This included mobility assistance in and out of a wheelchair, taking notes during medical appointments, and total responsibility of follow up scheduling with all medical providers. I provided home cooking in compliance with dietary needs, and keep clients hygienic by cleaning bedding, counters, and any other specific needs around the household. I converse, read, and provide companionship to keep clients mentally healthy and alert during the day.
