About Sanaa

I like working with kids because I feel like I learn something new everyday when working with them. Children are full of imagination and excitement for life, so it brings me joy to be around them. I started working with kids when I was in my first year of college and I switched my major to elementary education. I thought it would be a good idea to have experience with children before I was in the classroom as a student teacher and eventually when I have my own classroom. I have worked in childcare for almost 3 years and have done field experience for 2 years. In my spare time, I like to sing, draw, and do color guard. I would consider all of these a passion of mine. I started color guard when I was a freshman at Butler High School and I still do it today in independent winter guard groups. I have been drawing and singing since I can remember, these are two things I have always loved to do and try to incorporate them in classrooms that I am in.
