About Samuel

With over seven years of tutoring experience, Samuel specializes in helping students excel in mathematics and physics. He graduated in the top 5% of his class from Appalachian State University with a degree in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. Samuel began his tutoring journey at Appalachian State's Tutoring Center, where he worked with students in math (up to Calculus II) and physics (up to college honors Physics II). Over four years, he honed his teaching skills, expanded his course expertise, and became a trusted mentor. During this time, Samuel also contributed to Team Sunergy, a solar vehicle team, serving as Assistant Electrical Director and helping lead innovative projects. For the past 3 years, he has been a professional online tutor with a boutique test prep company, amassing thousands of tutoring hours.
