About Sam

I am a recent graduate from college with a Bachelor's degree in Art Education, which certifies me teaching grades K-12. Student teaching and observation experience has given me the opportunity to work with children of all ages and intellectual abilities. During and after college, I have also had the pleasure of nannying for several wonderful families. Both families had multiple children and relied on me to pick up and drop off at school, run errands, tidy up the house, and participate in homework/academic activities. After graduating, I began teaching full time as a toddler teacher at a private school in New York. I spent five years there as the lead teacher in both a Pre-K and Toddler classroom. My duties included running a core cirriculum-based lesson plan daily, instilling behavior management plans, and assessing each student individually. Children are truly such a gift and I am blessed to be a teacher!
