About Sammy

Hi!! My name is Sammy, and I've been working with animals as long as I can remember. My first job was at Chow Hound, and then I worked at Dogtopia. I have experience with large/small dogs, cats, birds, snakes, spiders... pretty much anything you can name, I've cleaned up after (lol). I am a great communicator and I'm always willing to accommodate an animal's specific needs! Working with animals is incredible because even though they may be different from us, there's something about animals that make forming such a deep connection possible. I'm looking for a job that is the perfect balance of predictable and exciting--for example, a consistent schedule is a plus, but I don't mind a more challenging pet with a large personality. I started professionally working with animals when I was 14, but I have had pets my whole life. My first pet was a leopard gecko named Spotty :) My skills include handling mammals, handling reptiles, and handling birds.
