I come from a big family, I have quite a bit of personal experience with children in the age range of 8 weeks - 12 years and I have handled up to three children at once comfortably. The last two families I worked for had an infant child at 8 weeks and a 3-year-old, and a family with a ASD young adult. In college I took three quarters of American Sign Language and through personal experience am well versed in communicating and caring for children with developmental delays and special needs. Sam is absolutely wonderful! She cared for my adult special needs son for a few hours each week or so for the past year until she moved. I am heartbroken to lose her! She is very fun, compassionate, understanding, caring, and intuitive. She is also very reliable.
