I am delighted to recommend Sam, who has been an incredible part of our family over the past year. Caring for our 8- and 10-year-old children, she has consistently demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and genuine warmth in everything she does. Sam is an excellent driver and safely transported our children to and from school throughout the school year, as well as to their many extracurricular activities. During the summer, she cared for them full-time, always keeping them engaged, active, and happy. In addition to providing exceptional childcare, she managed daily responsibilities such as preparing meals, handling the children’s laundry, and helping keep their routines running smoothly. We always knew we could count on her, and she approached every task with a positive attitude and a smile. As a native Spanish speaker, Sam spoke Spanish with our children every day, which has been an incredible benefit to our family. Our children attend a Spanish immersion school in Arlington, and having the opportunity to practice conversational Spanish at home has been invaluable to their language development. At the same time, her English is excellent, making communication effortless with our family, teachers, coaches, and everyone else she interacted with throughout the year. What truly sets Sam apart is who she is as a person. She is a ray of sunshine—kind, upbeat, fun, patient, and thoughtful. She has a truly pure heart and built an incredible bond with our children. They absolutely adore her, and she has become so much more than our au pair—she is a true part of our family. We will always consider her family, and saying goodbye to her is one of the hardest parts of this experience. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to welcome Sam into their home. She will thrive in a loving environment and will undoubtedly bring joy, stability, and exceptional care to the children she looks after.
