About Sam

I'd describe my personality as warm, patient, and organized! I enjoy working with kids because I love to guide them and see them learn and grow. I started seriously working with kids at 12 when I became a mother's helper/babysitter, and quickly moved on to a nursery job, nannying, and more babysitting. I soon ended up working at a Montessori preschool, where I spent every summer as a camp counselor and the last two years as a teacher and executive assistant, helping to care for the children and manage school operations! I have an extensive Montessori background and excel at teaching kids to do things themselves, fostering a sense of independence and helping them feel more confident to manage their own lives. I am also a practitioner of positive discipline and help children to learn to manage their behavior rather than correcting it. My top skills include supporting emotional regulation, fostering independence, and maintaining a safe and structured environment.
