About Sam

I have worked with children one-on-one and in groups for over 3 years at an outdoors summer camp. Kids bring an unequivocal joy to my heart. There are few things as pure as playing, listening, and interacting with children. As such, it is vital to ensure the well being and safety of children at all times. This is, of course, not an easy task. However, my experince has allowed me to develop a vareity of nessicary and critical skills to ensure this. I am very paient with people of all ages. This is vital to working with children. Another aspect of this is receptiveness. Kids sometimes struggle to convey their needs. As such, this skill is particularly helpful. I enjoy fostering kids curiosity and engaging in appropriate play, both of which are critial to a childs upbringing. When I was a kid, I was profoundly shy. This personal experience gives me a unique insight into working with kids simmilary shy. As an avid reader myself, I love reading for adults and children alike.
